Marin Coastal Range, Sonoma Coastal Range, North Bay Interior Mountains, Coastal North Bay Including Point Reyes National Seashore and North Bay Interior Valleys are the focus of a flood watch

As a storm pushed its way into the Bay Area, new flood watches and landslide warnings were issued in parts of the North Bay.

Marin Coastal Range, Sonoma Coastal Range, North Bay Interior Mountains, Coastal North Bay Including Point Reyes National Seashore and North Bay Interior Valleys are included in an updated flood

The Russian River and other waterways in Sonoma and Napa counties have been swollen by the atmospheric river-fueled storm, prompting evacuation orders and threatening low-lying areas.

Another storm is drenching the Bay Area. As expected the North Bay is seeing heavy rain and high winds. The conditions are causing downed trees, local flooding, and traffic impacts.

From downed trees to flooded streets, Thursday’s rain caused a number of issues across the North Bay. “We need it, but I’m getting sick of it,” Napa resident Tim Dudley said. That’s how many people in the North Bay were feeling as the latest round of rain battered the area.
