The blade of a wind turbine was struck by lightning on Nantucket, Massachusetts, Vineyard Wind confirmed Sunday.

Gefertec has highlighted the use of its Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), also known as wire/arc DED, to produce turbine blades for a major manufacturer.
