Columbus Division of Fire crews were still fighting the blaze as of noon Friday. Geitter said no injuries had been reported and that fire officials suspected no hazardous materials in the fire.

The Columbus Division of Fire is fighting a massive blaze that broke out early Friday morning on the southeast side of the city. According to Fire Chief Jeffrey Geitter, crews were called shortly after midnight to a scrapyard in the 2100 block of Alum Creek Drive,

Police said Roannil Clanton was taken into custody and charged with murder in the shooting death of Earkavion Lee, which occurred Thursday afternoon in the 2300 block of Watson Drive. Clanton will also be charged with six counts of aggravated assault, according to police.
