Livermore Fire initially started 3:35 p.m. Aug. 19 in Alameda County. After being active for 85 days, it has burned 16 acres. As of Tuesday afternoon, the fire crew has achieved full containment of the blaze. However, the cause is still under investigation.

The forecast calls for winds to kick up again. But officials say conditions will not reach the magnitude of last week's Santa Anas.

Note that full containment doesn't mean the fire is completely out. In this case, it means that the wildfire has been fully enclosed by a control line and it is now stopped from spreading. A fully contained wildfire may continue to burn within the containment perimeter but is not likely to spread.
