Ohtani took part in his third simulated game hours before the Dodgers deployed the bottom of their depth chart against their biggest rivals, ramping all the way up to 44 pitches.

Ohtani being the top choice comes as little surprise given what he has accomplished over the course of his eight-year MLB career.
