The legend is back. Manny Pacquiao makes his return from a four-year absence (and retirement) to try and once again capture gold. Pacquiao is set to take on WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios in the main event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

But Pacquiao, in the end, fell just short on the judges' scorecards as Mario Barrios escaped with a majority draw to retain the WBC welterweight championship. Two judges scored the bout a draw, and judge Max DeLuca awarded Barrios a 115-113 victory. The Associated Press scored the fight 115-113 in favor of Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao rolled back the years to produce a legendary performance at age 46, yet was denied the result that would have put yet another punctuation mark on an all-time career.
