Shortly after Bosa signed his one-year deal worth a reported $12.6 million on Tuesday, he opened his cell phone to a text from Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Bosa, who turns 30 in July, is no longer the same destructive player he was when he last visited Orchard Park five years ago. Since that day, the Chargers have played 73 games counting the postseason, and Bosa played in only 47 because of a rash of injuries.
