BOSTON – The Northeastern Huskies turned a three-peat with a 4-0 victory over Boston University in the 46th Women’s Beanpot title game on Tuesday night at TD Garden.

No. 14 Northeastern built off Lily Yovetich’s first goal of the season to win the 46th Women’s Beanpot in front of 13,279 at TD Garden.

The Huskies will face BU for a chance at their third consecutive Beanpot title, after beating BC in last Tuesday’s semifinals.

A Beanpot women's hockey record crowd of 13,279 fans were on hand at TD Garden in Boston to watch Northeastern University beat Boston University at the 46th annual tournament.

The 46th women's Beanpot begins January 14 and runs through Jan. 21. The 2025 tournament marks the second year that the women's championship game will be played at TD Garden.

Lindsay Bochna found netting with 1:17 left in overtime to lead Boston University over Harvard in the 2025 Women's Beanpot semifinals. The Terriers are looking to capture their first Beanpot title since 2019 after falling in the championship game last year and in 2020.

NU 3-0 Northeastern is the most prolific team in Women’s Beanpot history and BU the least. The Huskies have won the tournament 19 times, while the Terriers have only appeared in the title game 9 times.
