The College Football Playoff continues on New Year's Day when (1) Oregon faces (8) Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. This is a rematch of one of the best games of the 2024 college football season when Oregon defeated Ohio State 32-31 on Oct.

There is much at stake for Oregon coach Dan Lanning and Ohio State coach Ryan Day during the College Football Playoff quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl.

If the sequel is as good as the original, somebody better make sure Granddaddy doesn’t have a heart attack. Oregon’s 32-31 win over Ohio State on Oct. 12 was the game of the year in college football.
