Equinor (NYSE:EQNR) said Monday its Troll field in the Norwegian North Sea, Europe's largest natural gas field, produced a record 42.5B cm of gas in 2024, or ~1.5T cf, nearly 10% higher than the previous record of 38.

The record output is due to high regularity, no turnarounds and efficiency upgrades such as riser replacements on Troll B.

Norway's Equinor said on Monday the Troll gas field in the North Sea had produced a record volume of natural gas in 2024, increasing nearly 10% from the previous high set in 2022.
