WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – USD 259 teachers tell KSN News that Wichita Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 7. WPS initially posted to Facebook around 3 p.m. on Monday, saying that school would be in session on Tuesday. Later, around 8:40 p.m., they announced that school will be closed:

Blowing snow continued in Wichita on Sunday afternoon in the midst of a blizzard warning, making driving hazardous.
