Police have launched an investigation into two spas based out of Lafayette and Kokomo accused of participating in several illegal activities, including human trafficking

The Kokomo Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating 59-year-old James Adams, who was last seen in early December and is believed to be in extreme danger.

Police recently arrested a Kokomo woman after they say she dealt methamphetamine in front of a child. Around 11:30 a.m. Friday according to a Kokomo Police Department media release, officers executed a search warrant at a Howard County residence.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Four victims have been rescued in a local human trafficking operation. An eleven month investigation has resulted in human trafficking crimes linked to business owners in Lafayette and Kokomo.

The action followed an eleven-month investigation that uncovered the businesses were allegedly involved in prostitution, police said.
