The Texas Department of Public Safety said in a news release that the crash happened at about 8:45 p.m. when 46-year-old Brandon Brown, of Corpus Christi, traveling east in his personal vehicle, a 1998 Lexus ES, was struck by a 2023 Dodge Charger that was headed west on the two-lane road and approaching the intersection of County Road 67.

Brandon Brown, a Texas Border Patrol agent of over 20 years has died after getting into a head-on collision on his route to work Monday in Kingsville.

According to DPS, a Bishop woman was heading westbound on FM 70 and traveled into eastbound traffic, colliding head-on with agent Brandon Brown.
