An investigation is underway after seven dogs were found dead, each with a single gunshot to the head, in South Carolina.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, firefighters from Concord, Birmingport and Warrior were dispatched at 10:23 a.m. Tuesday to the residence in the 102000 block of Camp Oliver Road.
