Authorities in northern Wisconsin say a cyber tip led to the arrest of a 20-year-old woman on 46 felony charges related to the possession and distribution of child pornography. According to a release from the Forest County Sheriff’s Office,

Investigators say they located multiple examples of child sexual abuse material when searching devices found in Patrick Anthony West’s room. In early January, the Wisconsin Department of Justice passed on a “CyberTip” to Superior Police from the Nation Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

A cyber-tip led to the arrest of an East Moline man on eight counts of child pornography. He was taken into custody in Iowa and awaits extradition to Illinois.
