The Eagles didn't visit the White House after winning Super Bowl LII in February 2018. That victory came during Donald Trump's first term in office, and after several players made it clear they would be skipping the event if the Eagles went to the White House, Trump decided to rescind the team's invitation .

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni and right tackle Lane Johnson presented Trump with a number 47 midnight green jersey and a helmet signed by members of the team. At the center of the helmet between signatures by Johnson and Landon Dickerson the word "M.A.G.A" was written in silver marker.

While attending the Time 100 Gala on Thursday night, Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts declined to answer when asked if he would accompany the Eagles to the White House on Monday to celebrate their 2024 NFL championship.
