Photos posted on social media Monday show officers cutting back the panels, revealing about 300 lbs of the illegal drug hidden underneath.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said the panels were headed to New Zealand and were flagged before they were exported.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently seized nearly 300 pounds of meth at Los Angeles International Airport. The meth was disguised as solar panels. The shipment was bound for New Zealand.
