President Trump is expected to visit the Los Angeles area Friday following the devastating wildfires that caused extensive damage and left at least 28 dead.

In a meeting with local, state and congressional leaders, Trump assured them "the federal government is standing behind you 100%."

Citing the Los Angeles fires, Trump directed federal agencies to "immediately take actions to override" water operations and environmental rules. But the water mostly serves Central Valley farms.
