Paul McCartney wants Joe Cocker in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On Monday, publicist Bob Merlis shared a scanning of a Feb. 25-dated letter from McCartney urging that the English musician be inducted into the organization.

Now, the late singer is getting help from one of the Fab Four in support of what’s been a low-key quest by friends, business associates, and family to have him inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, which he’s been nominated to join in this year’s class.
