A winter storm watch has been issued for much of central and southern Indiana from Saturday into Monday. In central Indiana, up to 6 inches of snow and significant ice accumulations are expected, resulting in slick and hazardous roadways and potential power outages.

As the calendar flips to 2025, so too will the script on winter weather across the eastern half of the country.

This storm arrived in Boston and Southern New England around midnight, almost on cue, dumping over a half inch of rain in some areas through early morning. The system also brought some snow to the higher elevations of New England overnight.
