What is your Anno games tierlist from best to worst? : r/anno
Feb 9, 2022 · S Tier: 1602, 1404, 1800. A Tier: 1701, 1503, 2070. B Tier: 2205, Anno Online. I think it's a bit of a shame how low Anno 1602 is ranked by a few people. I have the feeling that there are very few Milenials and old-schoolers here, who played the game back then, one of the best games of its time!

Jan 27, 2016 · Thank you. For a beginner I would recommend 1701, but since you do have some experience, I think you should go with 1404. I think it is called Dawn of Discovery in America though. Both 1701 and 1404 are great games. 1701 should be played first as it's the older of the two games, though is still great for its age.

While Anno 1701 hardly qualifies as retro, the UI and some of the mechanics haven't aged nearly as well as Anno 1404 IMO. 1404 and 2070 are both great. For me it really depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I wanna get the nostalgia shot and go back to the year 1404 but sometimes I'm in a more futuristic mood. I think for me the aesthetic is often more important than the gameplay in anno. (1800), 1404, 2205, 1701 / 2070, 1503 / 1602.

In this order these are objectively the best anno games: Anno 1404 Simple, classic, a little warfare aspect to keep you on your toes. Some optimizing towards the end but really good if you just want a good time and a faster feeling of progression than in Anno 1800. OUTSTANDING CAMPAIGN and scenarios!!! This is it. Dec 11, 2021 · Starting from (I believe) Anno 1701 (the third game) the family has lived on through the centuries. But other than that, no, the storylines of the games do not flow into each other. There is really no reason to play anno in order, there is zero story connection. I would just play the ones that still hold up.
