Jul 31, 2023 · I am in the same exact boat. I really dig the exterior of the mustang gt and that extra power but the bmw m240i seems to be better in every other aspect. I know the b58 engine in the bmw is very tuneable too. Curious to what others will say.

Nov 2, 2022 · I think the m240i xDrive would be a great car. Saw a purple one pass by me today. Car has great road presence. As for options, get the best leather BMW offers. I went extended on my previous bimmer and it always felt cheap for a car near 6 figures.

Aug 17, 2022 · BMW M240i is currently on my shortlist. Seen a lot of videos and the xDrive is pretty impressive but never had AWD vehicle. Lose 1/4 time going RWD but maybe lose some fun factor with xDrive? I live in S. Florida so I really don't need AWD for weather really. Never had a BMW either so just curious to hear from BMW community how they would go.

M240i with the B58 is the right choice based on all that. You'll get better value for the $, better fuel economy (probably), awd, better styling, better reliability, lower cost of ownership, and a more comfortable ride.

Looking for something with much better handling, acceleration, comfort, suspension, power overall, and luxury. I don't have kids, but am concerned about the 2-door aspect of M240i and how that might not be convenient.
