Cherry Creek Trail includes a 10-foot wide concrete pedestrian / bicycle path and an adjacent unpaved equestrian trail. Trailheads with parking, restrooms and picnic areas are located along the Cherry Creek Trail at McCabe Meadows Park, Bar CCC Park and Cottonwood Trailhead Park.

One of the trail’s highlights is Cherry Creek State Park. This 4,200 acre park ofers boating for the water enthusiast and miles of trail for spectacular wildlife viewing whether you’re a bird watcher, hiker or cylist. About 12 miles of the trail runs through Arapahoe County.
