Feb 7, 2024 · I LOVED Metal Gear on the NES back in the day. It's been more than thirty years since I played it, but from the screenshots, it looks pretty much the same from what I can remember. How faithful is this GOG version to the original NES version? And does it run in DosBox? (I'm assuming so).

Nov 7, 2023 · I had this problem with Metal Gear solid, the solution was to launch the exe file (not the gog launcher) using the -w option (make a link to the exe file and edit it so it will be started with -w, such as "program files/metal gear solid/mgsi.exe" -w) It will then start in windowed mode, but with weird colors.
