I thought if your prize was a box with a question mark on it, you would get an emoji you don’t have already. And a box with a lightning bolt gives you one copy of an emoji you already have? I very rarely get a new emoji in a gold question mark box, even though I still have a bunch of gold emojis that I need to get.

Oct 20, 2022 · If you received , meaning a pair of U+FFFD, my guess is that it was a surrogate pair, which means a character that is encoded in one of the 16 Supplementary Planes, such as an emoji. There is no way to recover the original character, because this conversion was performed somewhere upstream.

For example, if I have the UK flag emoji 🇬🇧 that is actually the combination of two unicode characters "Regional Indicator Symbol Letter U" and "Regional Indicator Symbol Letter K". Similar for other countries.

Jul 31, 2022 · Upgraded to 5.9 yesterday, emojis are the double question black diamonds. I downloaded the cleaner and completely wiped Bluestacks multiple times, installing interchangeably with version 5.5 since I still had it saved. In every case 5.9 killed the emojis, in the emulator itself, not specific to any app. I'll just stick with 5.5, tyvm...

Leaning towards something on Bells side with how they’re sending. Or how the text file is receiving on the Roger’s side. Seen this before when a language file is different and it can’t make out what the character is from the other user so it replaces it with a question mark. Hopefully gets resolved soon. Edit: iMessages are sending fine.
