Most people that are purchasing 30 series cards now or in the near future are doing so because they expect to see prices falling in anticipation of the 40 series and want to get a good deal.

Rtx 4050s are the entry level of the 4000 series which is the most recent gpus you can buy. In terms of performance, it goes 4050>4060>4070>4080>4090. Same with Asus tuf a15 (ryzen7 4800h + rtx3050) Fps dips from 120 to just 60 in middle of the fight. But i might sell my laptop in a year and get a new one if the RTX 4000 laptop gpus are better and intel 13th Gen CPU come out.... but ill wait for benchmarks. Aso and RTX 3060 laptop seem to have pretty good perfromance as well are able to Run Cyberpunk at 60FPS with adjusted settings.
