Jun 28, 2023 · The biggest difference on PS5 is the frame rate, it gets a massive boost due to the improved hardware and as a result the experience feels much more smooth. There are some unfortunate drawbacks though, namely some bugs which weren’t present before.

Aug 26, 2015 · Yeah, I'm playing it for the first time on PS5 on a LG C1 which has decent built-in speakers and I usually go for Cinema, Music or Standard in the TV Speaker Settings but regardless of what settings the voices sounds so badly compressed and in the intro scenes the sounds seemed out of synch.

Jun 30, 2021 · I haven't had this issue myself (but I don't have a PS5; I've only played UD on PS4) though I did recently have to look up solutions to the same issue with a different game on PC, and it had to do with needing to play with the framerate settings (the video was moving faster or slower than the audio due to frame rate issues.)

Dec 1, 2021 · The problems with Until Dawn are odd anyway (it pauses at random intervals) so I think it would be something that would need to be corrected in code either by improving the backwards compatibility itself or patching the game. edit: Until Dawn doesn't stutter - it physically pauses like you've manually paused the game.
