PJ - Good overall fit and finish but not as good as others, Dexter axles, some previous qc issues I’ve seen. $11,500. Load Trail - Again overall good fit and finish, cheap coupler, heavy built looking trailer, $11,500.

Aug 28, 2006 · My old dump trailer was bought for $900 and sold for $500 but never dumped. Home made in the 70's weighed 5,500 lbs empty two 3 ton axles. For unloading shingle bebris found wrapping the whole load with logs chains and paying the operator $5 at the dump worked good. Used it for 3 years and worked perfect for 30 jobs.

I had a scissor lift never had any problems. Used it almost everyday with mulching, stone work, dirt work, clean up jobs.

With the truck, it would dump alot easier and quicker. Back up, push the button, pull the tailgate, dump and drive away. As long as the tarp wasn't up. Never had a problem.

May 17, 2010 · I would like to replace a dual axle car hauler with a dump trailer for my skid steer (Bobcat 150). I'm thinking a dump trailer could be used for transporting the skid steer and also be used to hauling/dump debris. I think transporting and dumping would be equally important in the trailer criteria. I don't have experience with dump trailers.

Mar 26, 2011 · I currently have 2 Carson dump trailers. 1 12' and 1 16'. I have owned the 12' for 9 years and best thing I ever bought. The 12' is ideal size with removeable 4' stake sides. Scissor hoist is key for heavy loads. I actually have the 16' pictured for sale and plan on buying a second 12'. Ideal dump trailer is the deckover PJ.

I priced out a Felling FT-16HD. 18ft bed, 20,800lb gvwr (16,000lb capacity), extra toolbox, wireless control, mesh tarp, pallet fork holders, trickle charger, etc.
