More lift capacity in its class so more work, when you learn the machine. But there are factors, you don't just buy a tractor, you're buying a dealer too. That lead to my kioti purchase.

I am new to the forum and to compact tractors, but I did a boatload of research and tire kicking before I bought mine. All the manufacturers have great units.

Jun 11, 2013 · No firsthand experience with smaller tractors but a possible reason you got a lot of shrugs is because there are so many variables in round bale size and weights not to mention the type of terrain you'll be working on and the speed you'll be traveling. Using a front spear I personally would want a tractor nearly double the HP of one using the rear.

In general, well-maintained diesel tractors like the ones your brother is looking at can last for thousands of hours, even up to 6,000 or more! For gas tractors, 2,000-4,000 hours is more typical.
