When displayed on an ultrawide monitor (21:9), it shows 2 black bars either side or stretches the image which is not ideal.

Sep 19, 2020 · Your monitor has a note in the manual that says: * When HDMI Compatibility Mode is on, 2560 x 1440 @ 120/144Hz resolution is not supported. I would assume you should be able to get 120Hz at 1440P with this monitor connected to a Series X. But, as you've probably seen, the Xbox One can be really picky when it comes to monitors.

Nov 11, 2020 · Unfortunately I have the same problem with an ASUS VG27AQ. On PC the monitor can do 1440p/120hz with HDR enabled. On Series X and Series S you have to activate the 4K mode to get an HDR picture. At the moment there is no possibility to get 1440p/120Hz with HDR enabled on this monitor with XS S|X.

Jan 4, 2021 · But, if I connect xbox series x to the monitor, xbox allows me to set only 1440p@60Hz or 1080p@120Hz. All suggested work arounds have not worked. I bought this monitor specifically for playing on the console and like many have hoped these settings be available if the monitors are known to support it.
