The Marshal Sheriff's Office currently has 9 School Resource Officers (SRO) who are specially trained to work in a school setting. The number of SRO's will eventually grow to one per school as new Deputies are hired.

Our Marine Division is staffed by sworn Deputy Sheriff's that are certified by the State of Alabama. These Deputies patrol Lake Guntersville, enforcing both state and local boating laws. Deputies enforce safe boating practices on all waterways of Lake Guntersville and can assist in any emergency situation along the river.
