'More punch than expected': First pics from Jasper hit zone

Two years on, flood damage from Tropical Cyclone Jasper can still be seen in coastal habitats – as well as early signs of recovery. We’re recording the condition of coastal mangroves, nearshore reefs, and seagrass meadows since the widespread flooding in far north Queensland associated with Tropical Cyclone Jasper in late 2023.
