Underwater scenes of James Bond's Lotus Esprit submarine were filmed using a custom-built wet sub piloted by a former U.S. Navy SEAL. After filming was complete, the sub was placed in a storage unit where it eventually was forgotten. It was rediscovered when the contents of the unit were bought for $100 at an auction.
