Attaching Bowsers spikes onto his shoulder armour! The base armour pieces where made from EVA foam and covered with Worbla Black Art. After I painted and shades them, I poked holes and then used some old pins I had to stick through the foam for mini little reinforcements as the spikes are hollow rubber spikes. I glued in little foam pieces into each spike and then used some contact adhesive to glue the spikes onto the armour. The pins are completely covered and safe! For the gold bands around ea

Making Bowsers spiked shell armour pieces was so much fun, especially adding the spikes to the final pieces, which was incredibly satisfying! I love hand armor so much!! It's just so cool to be able to wiggle your fingers covered with tiny armor pieces 😄 If you take some (store bought) textile gloves you can simply glue the little armor pieces on the glove with fabric glue. I find it works so well! I made these hand armors with EVA foam but you can also use Worbla. Want to make these too? Find the templates on my website!
