#kozhikodebeach | In a rare phenomenon, water began receding along a 1.5 km stretch of Kozhikode beach on Wednesday night. By 9.30 am on Thursday, the effect was still visible. The water receded in the South Beach area for almost 200 metres. By morning, the phenomenon shifted to the adjacent area opposite the Corporation office, where the water is slowly returning. At night, the exposed area was calm, with no waves or movement. In the morning, however, the sea became slightly rougher than usual.
