Severe weather has hit parts of the US state of Arizona, with a dust storm warning in place for Phoenix, Avondale, Mesa and Chandler. Because of the storm, highways were forced to close due to low visibility yesterday. The Phoenix National Weather Service warned that worst-affected areas were expected to have near-zero visibility.
